When I made Rydael the list of classes to select from became limited to a warlock or rogue. There is not a real class that fits this race best, but the combination of the little gnome with the huge voidwalker seemd nice and also getting a warlock horse for a gnome would be nicer than having an undead with another horse.
Well the combination of a voidwalker with a gnome is sometimes pretty annoying because the view gets blocked, but other than that a warlock rocks. It is pretty easy to get powerfull enemies down. There is a lot of choice in spells/curses to put on enemies. The dots are interesting because it takes a bit of time before they really kick in. Also soulstones rock.
Also it is nice to have some class quests to get the different pets. Unfortunately I most of the time have my voidwalker out since I need a tank. So have not been able to experiment a lot with the different pets.
Lot has happend since that time. Right now my Felhunter is my big friend. He is a funny dude :-). Rydael has traveled through the Outlands and the frozen wastes of Northrend and also reached 80. That was a nice accomplishment, but I don't really feel like gearing another character through Heroics since I have already done those dungeons so many times.
